The 2024 Spring Workshop of the Research Network of Sustainable Bee Breeding, the Task Force within COLOSS for Breeding and Conservation, will be held on March 13th, 2024 at the University of the Basque Country, Bilbao, Spain. It will follow after the Varroa control Task force workshop at the same venue (12th March), and it precedes the COLOSS Training school «Methods for resilience breeding and management» (14th March).
The agenda will focus on the organization of common activities and collaborative projects, such as:
- Update on the common Breeding book: “Sustainable Bee Breeding: why and how”
- Collaborative efforts in the area of honey bee diversity and breeding
- Knowledge exchange on ongoing projects focusing on sustainable breeding and biodiversity conservation
